Project Overview
This project combined LiDAR and photogrammetry to document the historic St Albert Grain Elevator Park for engineering and heritage preservation. The goal was to create a comprehensive 3D record for future planning and public education.
Flight Details
• 1.5 hrs photogrammetry (incl. oblique angles for structure detail)
• 40 min LiDAR pass for terrain and elevation
Deliverables
- High-resolution topographical data for engineering and runoff studies
- 2D orthomosaic for site mapping and planning
- Digital duplicate 3D model for virtual tours and condition inspection
- CAD & GIS-ready outputs
Accuracy:
≤ 1.5 cm (relative) | ≤ 1 m (absolute)
