Glenogle Bridge Digital Twin & Inspection Model

Project Overview

In Flight Robotics created a high-precision 3D model of Glenogle Bridge and its surrounding terrain to support engineering review and maintenance planning. Using 250 high-resolution photos captured in only 20 minutes, we produced a digital twin with sub-centimeter accuracy.

Deliverables

- 3D model of bridge and adjacent terrain

- 2D high-resolution orthomap for planning

- High-definition video for condition documentation

- CAD & GIS-ready data layers

Accuracy:

≤ 1.5 cm (relative) | ≤ 1 m (absolute)

Advantages of Drone Inspection

• Safe Access: Aerial angles under and around bridge structures without scaffolding or lane closures.

• Fast & Repeatable: Full dataset in under 30 minutes; identical flight can be re-created for future comparisons.

• Comprehensive Capture: Every detail is recorded objectively, not subject to human judgement.

Client Value

The digital twin allows engineers to review conditions remotely, extract topography, and perform cut/fill or slope analysis—all without returning to site.
